In 1973 Gerald Miller was at the race tracks in Melbourne, Australia and shot these photos of a P6. In the pits and on the track racing.

Late in 1970 or early 1971 British Leyland closed it's competition department. They hade two extremely lightweight racing cars. One of them was sent off to the USA for exhibitions and promotion, the other one was sold to the Australian driver James Smith, who brought the car home to Australia and raced it.
