The 1996 model Rover 400 and Honda Civic was the last reuslts of the Rover - Honda cooperation. The platform is the same, and so is most of the interior and some of the panels.
Who can tell the difference?
Well the one on the top is Rover. Honda has an airbag on the passengerside too.

This is the big difference. This Rover 400 have the 1.4 litre K-engine, and the Honda Civic a Honda 1.6 litre engine.
