Rover T4 gasturbine revealed a lot of details of the coming P6.

This was Rover's last serious attempt to build a gasturbine passenger car.
This T4 was built on P6 protype chassi number 10 and was showed up in 1961. The gasturbine engine was frontmounted and had 140 bhp, it had twin-shafts and was driving the front wheels. The accelerations was good, from 0 to 60 mph in eight seconds, but the fuelconsumption much to high at 20 mpg.
As seen on the picture this T4 looked very much like the coming P6. Even designdetails, like the seats, the facia and the door trims, were ready for P6-production.
